Summary: This poem "The Raven" by edgar Allan Pom is descibed dark and dull midnight at 12:00, as he was feeling and tired, he was thinking about strange old folk tales. When he was almost asleep, he heard a tapping. Someone knocking on his door. "Only the knocking and nothing else." The wind blew into the room, each curtain amazed him with terrible fear. "Who's knocking at my door, but nobody was there except the darkness. wh only heard one word. a word in a very low voice, "Lenore". The sound was echoing "Lenore, and the knocking noise was louder than before. It is hte wind, and the old Taven, just tel him about hell his name is? What does it mean?" I would like to discuss little about the author. The author was born in Boston, the son of traveling actors. he mother died when he ws still a baby. he had a short and unhappy life.
